VBS

Well, Vacation Bible School is in full swing this week! Yesterday and today went really well ... the kids seem to be having a blast and Brian and I are having a ton of fun doing the recreation activities with them. Due to the heat warning that is in effect in our area, today and tomorrow they have us inside in the gymnasium so don't feel too bad for us! We were willing to stick it out, but it's a nice break (and quite cooler!) being inside instead. The hardest age group is the youngest kids (K-1st grade) since some of the kids are so young. They lose interest much quicker and we have to keep the games very simple. But it's been fun trying to be creative for the different age groups so that they are all entertained and having fun!

In our spare time Brian and I have been downstairs hanging our drop ceiling in the basement. We have a lot of the one side done and it's really starting to look nice and give it a whole different look. We've been enjoying working on that together!
