Easter Weekend

We had a busy weekend filled with lots of fun! Brian had off work Friday, so he was busy doing some projects around the house while I ran errands. It was nice to get out and get some things done without having to load and unload the 3 kiddos at every stop. Then Friday night our church had a Good Friday service, so Brian and Hailey went to that (Justin was getting over a cough so I stayed home with the 2 younger kids). Saturday morning our church had its annual egg hunt, so we went to that. We invited a co-worker of Brian's to the egg hunt, and they were able to make it so that was great. Brian's parents and younger siblings came to visit us on Saturday for the day as well which was great! We had lots of fun together hanging out and playing games.

Then yesterday we had church in the morning ... Brian and I are teaching the 1st graders at church this month. Actually Brian teaches, and I'm his helper! He does a great job getting the kids excited about the gospel and it's neat to see him interact with the kids. Yesterday afternoon my parents (and Matty!) came for a visit. We ate dinner together (after watching the final round of the Masters) then after the kiddos went to bed we played some cards. It was a busy, but fun weekend!

My Mom stayed on Sunday to hang out with me for a couple days while Brian is in Florida on a business trip this week. So she's here until tomorrow afternoon. It's nice having her here for a night while Brian's away!
Other than that, there isn't too much going on in our neck of the woods. We're still excited for warmer weather, but giving thanks for all things in the meantime (even 30 degree weather in the middle of April!).

Here's a pic of the kiddos with their eggs ...
